    Item listed is a Depression Glass Cobalt Blue Mt. Pleasant “Double Shield” Handled Cake Plate. This lovely plate is featured in the color cobalt blue and the Mt. Pleasant “Double Shield” pattern. There are some scratches on the plate from previous use of the item but otherwise is in very good condition. L.E. Smith Glass Company produced Mt. Pleasant “Double Shield” between 1920 and 1934. This plate measures 11 ¼” from handle to handle and 10” wide. Pictures were taken in natural and artificial lighting as well as with and without a flash.
