    Listed is a gorgeous 10 inch black ebony sandwich-tidbit server in the Mt. Pleasant pattern designed by the L.E. Smith Glass Company.  The elderly lady I purchased this from said this was an unmarked piece of  L.E. Smith Glass - it appears to be so.
    It is a heavy piece with gold gilding on the edges of the server with gold gilding also on the centered handle and at the mid-center of the platter.  A lovely piece that is very usable and very collectible.  The depression era at its best in dish design.
    This would make a beautiful edition to your dinning  table filled with sandwiches...candy...or pastries!!  Cheese and fruit would also look fantastic.
