    Description

    Offered for sale is a beautiful Depression Glass butter dish in the "Floral" pattern.  This pattern, also known as Poinsettia, was manufactured by the Jeannette Glass Company from 1931-1935.  This is a tall, stately piece with an amazing strong pink color.  The butter dish bottom measures 6 1/2 inches across and stands 1 inch tall.  The lid measures about 4 3/4 inches across and stands about 3 3/4 inches tall.  Condition:  the lid is in PRISTINE condition with no chips, no cracks, no damage at all.  The bottom has a tiny flake on the outer edge (1/8") which can not be felt from the bottom or side edge but from the top.  This is really minor and not easy to see - you have to feel for it.  The inside rim of the butter dish has a 1/2 inch chip, which is shown in the photos.  Obviously, with the lid on, it is hidden.  This is really a gorgeous piece and is part of a Depression Glass butter dish collection that my mother amassed many years ago.  Please see the photos, check my feedback, and ask any questions before making a purchase.  Happy Shopping!!
