    Lot of 2 Depression Glass Plate & Bowl Black Amethyst Mt. Pleasant Smith Glass
    For consideration is this lot of 2 pieces of Depression glass – a plate and a bowl – by Smith Glass circa 1925 to 1934, in the Mt. Pleasant Black pattern (also known as black amethyst). The plate measures 7¼ inches in diameter, 8½ inches from handle to handle and the base measures 4¼ inches in diameter. This plate is most likely a mayonnaise underplate. The bowl measures 5 inches in diameter, 6½ inches from handle to handle and the base measures 3½ inches in diameter. This piece has no bands (there is a similar bowl with bands around the base). Neither of the 2 pieces has nicks, chips, cracks or repairs. The circle in the base of the bowl shows utensil marks and is a little dull. Buyer will pay Parcel Select shipping on a 3 pound box.
