    Description

    Black Glass Open Footed Sugar Bowl & Creamer
    by L.E. Smith, circa 1925-1934
    High gloss black glass with scalloped edge, called "Double Shield" and "
    Mt Pleasant Black" and
    "Black Amethyst" glass.  Handle base has a triangular pattern (see photo 7).  One swirly/dimple in glass on creamer side (see photo 5).
    Measurements: (1) sugar bowl, 3 5/8 " rim diameter x 2 1/2 " height, weighs 7.6 oz
