    Description

For the collector looking for MINT dolls, it doesn't get any better than this. Here is Scarlett in her picnic dress from Madame Alexander's Gone With The Wind classics series (stock # 15030), and she has never been removed from the box. She is from the estate of her original owner, who purchased the doll and then stored it away in a dry, clean closest.
The doll is wearing a gown printed with large red roses and green leaves, on a white background. The dress is trimmed with lace, and she has a cameo pin on the bodice. She carries a basket, which is factory tied to her right wrist. On her right wrist, the original hang tag identifying her is attached. The back of the card notes this Gone With The Wind doll was made in 1997 and licensed by Turner Entertainment, which owns the rights to the movie. Scarlett has white, lace trimmed pantalettes, white socks, and bright red shoes. Her dark hair is factory styled and pulled up under her big woven bonnet, which is trimmed with lace, red ribbon and a red rose.
The doll has original white tissue under her chin, to protect it from rubbing against the cardboard neck guard, which is factory attached to the side of the box. I was able to lift it away a bit on one side for photos, but did not detach it. The doll's registration card with a number for this specific doll, and the MA club card, are still in the box as well, along with original pink tissue.
The blue box has the correct printed label. The box has the very lightest of shelf wear to edges. Scarlett is from a nonsmoking home and has been kept in a clean, dry closet.
