PERFECT PAIR Vintage L. E. Smith BLACK AMETHYST "1402" Candlesticks!!

Description

Up for sale is a pair of absolutely perfect vintage black amethyst glass candlesticks by L. E. Smith Glass!  The floral pattern that they’re decorated with is Smith’s “1402“ line.  This pair of candlesticks has survived in fantastic condition!  There are no chips, cracks, flakes, fleabites, nicks or roughness anywhere, and the glass is nice and shiny with no stains or scratches whatsoever.  All of the colors are nice and vibrant, and except for one yellow petal and a green dot, all of the flowers are completely intact.  They could easily be touched up.  They stand 3 inches high, and they measure 4¼ inches in diameter across the bottom.  A photograph of these candlesticks can be found in Gene Florence’s “Glass Candlesticks of the Depression Era".  They would be an eye-catching and dramatic addition to any table setting or collection of vintage black amethyst glassware!  I have a matching footed bowl for sale in another auction, so be sure to take a look at my store by clicking on the link above!  The winner will pay shipping and insurance (insurance is automatically included in the shipping calculator as a “handling fee”).  Shipping will be combined for the winner of more than one item whenever practical.  Candlesticks will be shipped within 3-4 days after receipt of PayPal payment (if other payment options are desired, please don’t hesitate to inquire).
