This beautiful
new nostalgic Mt. Buffalo National Park skiing poster vintage reproduction metal sign is
great for decorating the ski lodge, garage, shop, bar, man cave, home, office, or dorm room.
The sign has a blue and white background with an image of an attractive woman skiing. She's dressed in black pants, red jacket, green scarf with white dots, black & yellow mittens and yellow cap. Across the top is "EXHILARATING." in white letters.
The brown banner at the bottom reads "MT BUFFALO NATIONAL PARK" in black type. "TAKE A KODAK" is in white letters on the left. "VICTORIA AUSTRALIA" is in dark brown on the right. The round logo of Victorian Railways is in the center. Apparently this was a advertising travel piece for the railroad as well as Mount Buffalo National Park.
The illustration is signed "Northfield" in the lower left.
This durable sign is 18" x 12" in size with rolled edges and reinforced die-cut holes in each corner for easy hanging. It is hand made in the USA from heavy-gauge American steel by Vintage Sign Company. They use a process known as sublimation, where the image is baked into a powder coating for a durable and long lasting satin finish.
