    SOME INTERESTING INFORMATION –
    L E. Smith Glass Co. -
L E. Smith Glass Co. was in production well-before they began producing coloured glass in the 1920’s – having made the first headlight lens for the Model T FORD
    .
Smith glass is globally known for their UNIQUE formula for Black Amethyst Glass although they produced a vast array of coloured-clear (amberina, cobalt, amber, pink, green, yellow – plain & crackle) & milk-glass; tableware & figurines; with many highly collectible patterns (Moon & Stars; American, Daisy & Button; Hobnail; Diamond and many, many more ….).
    L E. Smith Glass Co. – Homestead vs Pebbled-Rim Patterns -
    The
    Pebbled-Rim Pattern (1935-?)
came in a wide range of colours, clear and milk-glass.
The pattern was released after the Homestead Pattern (1927-31) – which offered many of the same pieces BUT the grill plate was smooth-edged.
Depression Era - Art Deco Style -
For those who love the beauty and elegance of
    Depression (~1929-1941) Glass
. Many of the Glass-Makers of that era manufactured a wide variety of pieces, patterns and colours –
meeting the desire to bring sparkle, colour and style into the homes of consumers.

Processing Blankets, Once in Hand -
All Blankets are washed in Wool-Safe Laundry Detergent; dried on warm heat, until dry; photographed from both sides; folded and bagged loosely, then placed into a storage cupboard having cedar shingles throughout the cupboard until sold.
There are videos and web-sites on line which explain how wool items can be re-stretched to their proper shape or size (or closer to) – as shrinkage happens when washed and dried.
