Although this item was created as a scoop/ bowl for dry dog or cat food, I have found it helpful when dealing with any dry substance that might be a little too much for my
carpal
tunnel (wrist injury).
*Scooping beans, rice, flour and other dry foods is easier with the thumb hole giving extra support.
*I have some for my children to play in their sandbox, mini-gravel box, clay table, and water table.
*There are some in my garage and greenhouse.
