The Wing Spy 8 Bird Camera from Wildgame Innovations is designed specifically for the birding enthusiast. It offers a 1/4" CMOS image sensor, 8MP still image resolution, and HD 720p video recording with sound in clips up to 30 sec in length. Both 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratios are available. The wide-angle lens has a focal length of 3.0mm (35mm equivalent: approximately 32mm) and a fairly fast aperture of f/2.4. The PIR motion sensor is especially sensitive, making the camera ideal for picking up the movements of birds and capturing images in response. This sensor has a fast 1-sec trigger speed to help ensure that you don't miss the action. The camera also features a 1.5" TFT color screen with live view. These is no LED or flash, so the Wing Spy 8 is designed for daytime image capture only. Built for durability, it is water/weather-resistant. It records files to SD/SDHC memory cards up to 32GB. It runs on 4 AA batteries.
